How it works

  1. Paste original text into A and the edited version into B—or try Example. The diff updates as you type.
  2. Optionally ignore whitespace, letter case, or blank lines; turn on Changes only to hide unchanged lines.
  3. Use Prev/Next to jump between changes, or switch Unified / Side by side.
  4. Copy stats or the unified diff when you need it in a ticket or email.

How do I compare two texts online?

Is text compare the same as comparing two lists?

No. Text compare is ordered line edits. List compare is membership—what appears only in A, only in B, or in both.
