Compare two lists
Got two lists and need to know what doesn’t match? Paste them below. You’ll see what shows up only on the left, only on the right, and what’s in both.
Decide what A and B mean
Before you paste, be clear about each side—for example “yesterday’s export” vs “today’s,” or “people I follow” vs “people who follow me.” If you mix them up, the results still look fine, but you’ll unfollow (or fix) the wrong people.
- Put one name, email, or ID on each line.
- If the paste looks messy, leave “trim” and “ignore empty lines” on.
After you hit Compare
- Intersection — items in both lists. If this is empty, something is probably off with formatting.
- A only / B only — the real differences you usually care about.
- Duplicates — repeats inside one list that can throw off your counts.

FAQ
What’s the fastest way to compare two lists?
Paste both sides, leave the defaults, click Compare lists, then check A only, B only, and Intersection.
Can I paste from Excel or upload a CSV?
Yes. Paste from Excel, or upload TXT, CSV, or JSON. If each row has several columns, use first-column mode so you only compare the ID.
Why do I get almost no matches?
Extra spaces and capital letters are the usual culprits. See tips for Excel paste.
