A short history of changes that matter when you use ListDiff—new ways to get help, safer defaults to know about, and features you can try today.

New text compare: line-by-line diff with unified and side-by-side views, ignore whitespace/case, and copy unified output—separate from list compare so order and wording stay clear.
New JSON compare: structural differences by path (object key order ignored; arrays by index), plus beautify/minify. Not the same as uploading Instagram JSON into the list tool.
Text and JSON pages now use the same product layout as the homepage: hero + live tool first, then how-it-works and FAQ—not thin guide-style shells. Header and home featured tools link to both.
Text and JSON tools: auto-compare as you type, Prev/Next change jump, Changes only (text) or kind/path filters (JSON), Swap A/B, and copy stats—plus tips when you may want the other tool.

The tool now warns when hidden characters (like non-breaking or zero-width spaces) are in your paste, with one-click strip—plus remove blank lines and lowercase buttons for quick cleanup.
CSV column extract is always visible: pick Col N (not only Col 1), optional Header, then Apply—works on imported files and pasted multi-column text. Multi-column CSV files default to column 1.
If both lists have items but Intersection is empty, a short tip appears with strip / lowercase actions and a link to why lists don’t match.

New scenarios: attendance / roster absences and phone number lists (exact format match; no fuzzy guessing).

New help for everyday jobs: compare email lists (including suppression cleanup), compare two columns, merge two lists, find duplicates, CSV ID exports, and Google Sheets columns.
Use cases and Guides indexes updated so these workflows are easier to find.

The compare tool sits higher on the homepage so you can paste and start sooner.
List A / List B and results are easier to tell apart at a glance.
You can split long lines by several separators at once (including Chinese commas and similar marks).
